Marseille head coach Jorge Sampaoli is very keen on signing Inter forward Joaquin Correa this summer, but the player does not have any intentions of leaving Inter.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia’s transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, who reports on his homepage that the Marseille boss has made the 27-year-old a priority.

Sampaoli is looking to strengthen his team after qualifying for the Champions League this coming season, and Correa is one of the Argentinian coach’s top targets, the report continues.

Sampaoli has worked with Correa in the past whilst in charge of Spanish La Liga outfit Sevilla, and is still very much a fan of the forward, and therefore sees the former Lazio man as the ideal player to strengthen them in attack.

However, for the time being the move does not look very likely as Correa has no intention of leaving Inter during the summer transfer window despite Sampaoli’s hopes.
