SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla has updated on the situation between Inter and Paulo Dybala, explaining that there’s nothing more left to work out between the parties.

Reporting on his homepage, Pedulla predicted that a deal between the Nerazzurri and Dybala is only a matter of time and that there is no distance between them in negotiations.

Inter look to be entering the home stretch in their pursuit of Dybala, with recent contacts with the player’s representatives having seen them get closer and closer to a deal.

There is still no official agreement between the parties, although this could arrive once the Argentine is back in Italy from his holiday and has a chance to meet face-to-face with Inter.

Pedulla reports that there are no obstacles left to be overcome to get an agreement done when the time comes, and that it is all but inevitable that Dybala will become an Inter player.

“Paulo Dybala to Inter is a deal which has been on the cards for two months,” he writes. “During this period, the ‘no surprises’ voices have spoken about intermediaries offering to England. This is false.”

“The silly thing is that even at this stage, where Antun is coming back to Milan to complete a deal, is that there are still some who speak about ‘distance’ or ‘possible Lukaku overtaking’ as though this is a car race,” he went on.

Pedulla is clear that “The thing that some don’t want to say, that Dybala is going to Inter, is just the evidence of the fact, it’s there for all to see, there is a real but understandable delay (some suggested Atletico Madrid last week), because on certain news you have to work on it in time, without distractions, otherwise you run the risk of too long a delay.”

“But what others don’t want to say yet is nevertheless the case,” he concludes, “it hardly makes sense to wait for an official press release at this point.”
