Chelsea are increasingly open to allowing Romelu Lukaku to return to Inter in a paid loan deal, while their interest in Nerazzurri wingback Denzel Dumfries is also growing.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Blues would want the deals involving Lukaku and Dumfries to be separate.

Chelsea have started to become convinced by the pressing of striker Lukaku to find a way to agree a return to Inter, with coach Thomas Tuchel wanting to see a solution rather than have him in the team next season.

The Premier League club are increasingly ready to come down on their demand of a €25 million loan fee for the Belgian in order to allow a deal to take place.

Meanwhile, Dumfries is a player who is very much liked by the Blues, and they are ready to step up their interest in the 26-year-old, but it would be kept separate from the negotiations for Lukaku.
