Newly-promoted Cremonese are very interested in signing Inter goalkeeper Andrei Radu if they are unable to keep hold of young keeper Marco Carnesecchi.

This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that the Romanian could be a major target for the Lombard side, but only in the event that they are not able to make Carnesecchi’s loan move a permanent one.

Radu’s future certainly looks to be away from Inter, either on loan or on a permanent basis, although it is far from clear where the 25-year-old will end up next season.

Cremonese are looking to use the summer transfer window to strengthen for life in the top flight, and Radu is a player who is on their radar.

Carnesecchi was on loan from Atalanta last season, and the newly-promoted side’s first choice would be to keep hold of the 21-year-old, but should he depart back to his parent club then they would be looking for a new goalkeeper with Radu one of their major targets.
