Henrikh Mkhitaryan will undergo his medical on an Inter move next week and then sign his contract to become a Nerazzurri player.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the 33-year-old will undergo the medical once his muscle injury is fully behind him.

Inter look to have secured Mkhitaryan’s signature on a free transfer from Roma pending his medical, although the medical has been slightly delayed by his recovery from a muscle injury picked up playing for the Giallorossi in the Europa Conference League final against Feyenoord.

The Nerazzurri’s medical team have been holding off on getting the medical done until he has recovered sufficiently, but this looks to be close at hand and it should be done next week.

Once the medical is completed, Mkhitaryan will sign a two-year deal with the Nerazzurri worth €3.6 million net per season to reinforce their midfield.
