Inter could make a move for Udinese wingback in the event that Denzel Dumfries is sold this summer, but likely not otherwise.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the 19-year-old could be a target if the Nerazzurri are aiming for a complete revamp of the wingback positions in the event that Dumfries is sold.

Dumfries is the subject of interest from the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea in the Premier League, and the Nerazzurri could decide to cash in on the 26-year-old.

In this event, the club would use the proceeds of a sale from Dumfries to fund an ambitious revamp of their flanks, having already lost Ivan Perisic who will be replaced with at least one wide player.

Cagliari’s Raoul Bellanova is the main target to be signed to strengthen on the right, with Matteo Darmian set to move to the left to back up Robin Gosens in place of Perisic.

If Dumfries were to also be sold, however, Udogie would become a priority target for the left.
