Inter are all set to hold the decisive talks with Empoli regarding a transfer for midfielder Kristjan Asllani today.

This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that the Nerazzurri should wrap up their deal for the 20-year-old in a meeting with Empoli today, and that he will earn €1.2 million net per season on a five-year deal.

Inter have been pushing to get a deal done for Asllani, already holding a number of meetings with Empoli to try and get the agreement over the line for the player who they have identified as the ideal backup to Marcelo Brozovic in the squad for next season.

Finding a player with Asllani’s profile has been one of the main priorities for the summer transfer window, and the Nerazzurri look to have gotten their man as they are poised to wrap up a deal for the Albanian.

Inter and Empoli should meet sometime today, and complete a deal, although it is not yet clear which player the Tuscans will ask for on loan as part of the agreement.
