Inter have lined up Udinese’s Destiny Udogie and Genoa’s Andrea Cambiaso as alternative wingback targets with a deal for Cagliari’s Raoul Bellanova still not fully done.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri still need to do some work to get a deal for Bellanova over the line, and are also still looking at other possibilities.

Inter have worked quickly to get near the final stages of talks for Bellanova, who has been identified as the player to strengthen the wingback positions following the departure of Ivan Perisic to join Tottenham Hotspur.

However, the Nerazzurri still see Cagliari’s valuation of the 22-year-old at €10 million as too high, and there is the inclusion of Cesare Casadei on loan in a deal to be discussed.

Udogie is a player who Inter coach Simone Inzaghi likes very much, but Udinese’s asking price for him is a steep €10 million, whilst Cambiaso is another player being targeted.
