Paulo Dybala could be a very significant signing for Inter not just on the pitch but also off of it given his high profile and marketability.

This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who note that the 28-year-old’s social media following is significantly higher than that of any other player currently in the Nerazzurri’s squad.

As with any club, Inter see there being substantial value in players with a large global following for attracting support and interest in the club, and Dybala would certainly be this type of player.

The Argentine is the player with the most social media followers of anyone in Serie A, with 2.5 million Twitter followers, 15.5 million Facebook followers, and 48 million Instagram followers.

Dybala’s arrival would mean that Inter have a player with the kind of profile and marketability which arguably has not really been at the club since the days of Ronaldo.
