Hakan Calhanoglu had a memorable first season as an Inter player, with the midfielder growing into the team as the season wore on.

The 28-year-old joined from city rivals AC Milan on a free transfer last season, and proved that he was the right man for Simone Inzaghi’s team with his displays in a midfield trio, particularly over the second half of the season.
