The chances of Romelu Lukaku returning to Inter have never been higher but the Nerazzurri could have to sell a player to Chelsea this summer, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the Belgian forward is very close to becoming an Inter player again as there were actual talks held between Inter and Chelsea on Wednesday via video link.

There is a common desire to get the deal sorted so that both teams can move on with their summer business.

Chelsea want a loan fee of €15 million for Romelu Lukaku and Inter are starting the negotiations at €5 million with the knowledge that they are willing to go as high as €10 million.

Whilst it would not be as part of the same deal, Chelsea are thought to be ready to put a bid in for Denzel Dumfries but they think the €45 million price tag is too high.
