Alexis Sanchez is prepared to take a pay cut if it means he can return to Barcelona this summer from Inter, according to a report in the Chilean media today.

As has been reported by La Tercera, a Chilean daily newspaper, Alexis Sanchez is very interested in the prospect of heading back to Barcelona, the club that he left in 2014 after joining in 2011.

They have been at the top of his list for the past eight months but it has not seemed that they have the ability to sign him, financially.

He would take a reduction on his current €7 million a year contract if it meant he could go back to the club and city where he has a lot of friends and a property that he visits when he gets the chance.

Barcelona seem to want him to leave Inter before they make a move which would mean Inter paying him severance.
