Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel could try and sign Inter defender Stefan de Vrij after the deal to bring Romelu Lukaku the other way has been completed, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, there are three players that Chelsea are looking at as they feel they have an inside track with Inter thanks to the Romelu Lukaku talks.

Denzel Dumfries is the one that interests Thomas Tuchel the most but Inter want around €45 million for him. There is also Milan Skriniar but Paris Saint Germain are further in discussions with him.

That leaves Stefan de Vrij which would be a much cheaper deal but would see Chelsea gain a reliable player that can replace Antonio Rudiger who left the Blues for Real Madrid on a free transfer.

Inter have made it clear that the Romelu Lukaku deal will not have other players involved.
