Inter are expected to double their loan offer for Romelu Lukaku when they next hold talks with Chelsea, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

As has been reported by Sky Sport, via FCInter1908, there has not currently been a response from Chelsea to Inter’s latest loan bid for Romelu Lukaku but there could be talks later this evening or on Saturday morning to try and progress the deal.

Inter are expecting Chelsea to ask for a fee of €15-20 million for the loan. Inter are ready to double their offer of €5 million which Chelsea have deemed insufficient already. The Nerazzurri are willing to go up to €10 million, perhaps as high as €12 million when bonuses are included.

Relations between the two sides still remain very good and there is an assumption that a middle ground will be found soon. Chelsea have an interest in Milan Skriniar and Denzel Dumfries so want to maintain relations.
