Inter are currently in pole position to sign Andrea Cambiaso from Genoa but the Nerazzurri cannot complete the deal at the moment whilst Juventus are on high alert, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by Alfredo Pedulla on his website, the Nerazzurri have held meetings with the player and Genoa and they would like to make him part of the squad.

They could work with another club to make the deal happen and loan him elsewhere as they cannot complete the deal right now.

They risk losing the Italian fullback to Juventus though because the Bianconeri have been following him for some time too and have asked for a meeting at the beginning of next week.

Inter will have to act fast if they want to make sure that Andrea Cambiaso does not become a Juventus player. He has one year left on his contract with Genoa.
