Inter will give Alexis Sanchez severance pay rather than wait for another team to buy him so that they can move on with their transfer business, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, Inter are incredibly keen to stop paying Alexis Sanchez’s €7 million salary as if they freed up that space in the wage budget, they could confirm the signing of Paulo Dybala on a free transfer.

There has been some interest in the former Manchester United and Barcelona forward but there have not been any concrete offers and Inter have grown tired of waiting.

They want to give him severance pay but the Chilean does not want to lose any money so the situation is at a bit of a standstill right now.

He seems determined to continue playing in Europe at a high level for at least two more years.
