Inter CEO Beppe Marotta is aiming to get a very high fee out of Chelsea if they are to sign Denzel Dumfries this summer, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Corriere della Sera, there are parallel negotiations going on between Inter and Chelsea which could see Denzel Dumfries join the Blues this summer.

Inter CEO Beppe Marotta is not planning to let Chelsea get what they want straight away though. He has demanded a fee of between €50-60 million for the Dutch wingback but it is highly unlikely that Chelsea will fork out that kind of money.

It is much more realistic that the deal could be closed for a fee of around €40 million which would still be a huge profit for Inter given they paid less than €15 million for him last summer when he left PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie following Euro 2020.
