Inter could find themselves playing a different formation next season as Simone Inzaghi looks to accommodate the possible new signings into the team, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Alfredo Pedulla, via FCInter1908, the trusted 3-5-2 formation that Antonio Conte used at Inter and that Simone Inzaghi continued to use last season could be adapted for the upcoming campaign.

There is a high chance that the coach will need to accommodate Lautaro Martinez, Romelu Lukaku and Paulo Dybala into the same team and that does not work in a 3-5-2.

It is likely that one midfield position will be sacrificed and moved further up the pitch, meaning a 3-4-1-2 or a 3-4-2-1 is likely.

In the 3-4-1-2, Paulo Dybala would play in the hole behind both Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku. If the 3-4-2-1 was being used, it would assumedly be the two Argentines playing behind Romelu Lukaku.
