Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri would love to have Edin Dzeko next season to be the backup to Dusan Vlahovic in attack, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Stampa, Juventus need some more depth behind Dusan Vlahovic as Paulo Dybala has left the club and Alvaro Morata may not be returning.

Edin Dzeko’s skill set would fit into what Max Allegri would like at Juventus but the deal will have to wait until Inter know what their own attacking department looks like.

If the deals for Romelu Lukaku and Paulo Dybala both go through in the next few weeks then Inter will need to get rid of either Edin Dzeko or Joaquin Correa to make sure they do not have too many forwards.

Joaquin Correa would fetch a fee bigger than Edin Dzeko but he is also much younger so may be worth keeping at the club.
