Inter target Gleison Bremer has confirmed that he will be leaving Torino this summer and is looking at multiple options, according to a report in the Italian media.

Speaking to ESPN via FCInternews, the Brazilian defender made it clear that he stayed at Torino last season despite feeling like he needed a new challenge. He decided to do so and that is why the club will not stand in his way now so that he can play in the Champions League.

“I told the coach and the management: ‘I want to change now’ [last summer]. So they told me: ‘Stay this year, help us. Next year you can take the next step’.

“The fans already know that I have this desire to play in the Champions League, to go there to earn a call-up to the Brazilian national team.”

He reiterated that he needs to play at a higher level and he is analysing some proposals from clubs.

“I need to play at a much better level, so I think it’s a matter of time. I’m analysing some proposals, but I think that next season I will no longer play for Torino.”

One of those proposals is from Inter and the agreement has been in place for a long time. It is likely that another one is from AC Milan who may try to sign him rather than Sven Botman from Lille.

Inter are set to have a meeting with Torino next week where they will try to thrash out a deal for Gleison Bremer. Torino want €35-40 million for the player but Inter cannot go that high.
