Henrikh Mkhitaryan will arrive in Milan next week where he will undergo his medical examination and sign his Inter contract, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, there is a chance that the Armenian midfielder will become Inter’s first official signing of the transfer window next week as the agreement is already entirely in place for him to sign on the dotted line and do his medical.

He will be signing a two-year deal and Simone Inzaghi believes that he can be crucial to adding more depth and another dimension to the midfield. He can also be used in a more attacking role.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan had seemed set to extend his time with AS Roma but he stalled on accepting their offer. Inter pounced and it led to AS Roma raising their offer. The player then had a straight choice of who he wants to play for.
