Henrikh Mkhitaryan will have his Inter medical and officially sign his contract on Tuesday next week, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, the Armenian midfielder will have a very busy day on Tuesday as he will first go to Humanitas to undergo his medical examinations before heading to Inter.

That is where he will sign his contract that runs for two years and will see him earn €4.5 million per season and he will also receive a signing-on fee of €2 million.

One of the decisive reasons for Henrikh Mkhitaryan choosing Inter rather than extending his deal with AS Roma was the chance to play in the Champions League again, a tournament he has had limited exposure to.

Inter are excited about the multiple different roles that the 33-year-old is able to perform within the midfield. He can be a valuable asset when attacking as well as dictating the tempo.
