Romelu Lukaku has already been in contact with Simone Inzaghi about winning the Scudetto with the Nerazzurri next season, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the Belgian forward has a direct line with the Inter coach and they have exchanged messages about him joining the club this summer.
The main focus of their conversations, reportedly, is winning the Scudetto after the Nerazzurri narrowly missed out on the final day last season against AC Milan.
Romelu Lukaku was part of the Scudetto-winning team under Antonio Conte but given Coronavirus regulations, he never got to celebrate it in front of fans which is something he would like to address next season.
The Belgian is determined to regain the affections of the Inter fans and staff after he left the club last summer for Chelsea. He has since shown repeatedly that it was a mistake.
