Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Kristjan Asllani are both set to undergo their medicals this week on moves to Inter.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the medicals are the last stage to be completed before the Nerazzurri can complete the signings of both of the pair.

Inter have had an agreement with Mkhitaryan on a free transfer from Roma for some time, but the club’s medical staff have been delaying the medical for the move until the 33-year-old has sufficiently recovered from a muscle injury.

Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri have agreed everything on a deal for Asllani with both the midfielder and also with his club Empoli, so they should be able to wrap up a deal for the 20-year-old shortly.

The medicals for both players are set for this week, and then the Nerazzurri will be able to start making their summer transfer business official.
