Inter could be having second thoughts on their chase of Paulo Dybala on a free transfer if they are to sign Romelu Lukaku on loan from Chelsea.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the possible return of Lukaku could give the Nerazzurri something to think about regarding the necessity of signing the Argentine.

Inter have been working to sign Dybala for some time, and over the past couple weeks a deal has looked very close as the Nerazzurri presented their formal offer to the 28-year-old’s representatives and got a very positive reception.

However, the Nerazzurri now look close to bringing Lukaku back on a loan deal, with the improbable return having taken big steps towards becoming a reality in the past couple of weeks.

Now, the Nerazzurri are left considering their strategy and whether they will want to sign both high profile attackers, with their decision also possibly linked to how much money comes in from sales during the window, particularly related to PSG’s chase of defender Milan Skriniar.
