Inter are all set to sign Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea on loan.

This according to UK journalist Ben Jacobs, who reported on his Twitter account that the Nerazzurri will complete the deal for a loan fee of around €10 million plus add-ons.

Lukaku has been pushing to make a return to Inter happen, and the clubs have been in advanced talks on an improbable return on the basis of a paid loan deal, with Chelsea ready to allow the player to depart and Inter keen on bringing him back.

Talks have been swift once the Blues opened up to the possibility of a loan deal, especially given that the Nerazzurri must complete the signing before the end of the month in order to take advantage of the Growth Decree on the Belgian’s gross wages.

The two clubs have wasted no time in coming together on the terms of the paid loan deal, and according to Jacobs it will be a €10 million loan fee plus add-ons, and no other players involved.

Jacobs reports, “Romelu Lukaku will get his move back to Inter. Inter will pay a loan fee of €10 million plus add ons. Chelsea pushed for a player-swap but Inter refused to include Skriniar, Dumfries or Bastoni. Martinez was never a realistic possibility or open to the move.
