Boca Juniors Vice-President Juan Roman Riquelme Has Called Inter’s Arturo Vidal About Summer Transfer, Italian Media Report

Boca Juniors Vice-President Juan Roman Riquelme has personally called Inter midfielder Arturo Vidal as well as his agent about a possible summer move for the 35-year-old.

This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that the Argentine giants are keen to sign the midfielder and that he would also like to join, although they cannot offer the kind of wages that other suitors are offering.

Vidal’s departure from Inter looks to be only a formality, and the Chilean’s agent Fernando Felicevich is working on agreeing a severance payment agreement to terminate his contract.

The Chilean is a target for the likes of Flamengo and Al-Rayyan, but Boca are ready to join the race for his signature.

Riquelme personally called Vidal as well as Felicevich and made the Argentine team’s interest known, and while the 35-year-old would like to play for the Argentines it remains to be seen if wages would prove to be too much of an obstacle.
