Inter Coach Simone Inzaghi Has Made It Clear Club Must Not Sell Denzel Dumfries, Italian Media Report

Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi has made very clear to the club that he does not want to see Denzel Dumfries sold this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri coach considers the 26-year-old to be very important and does not want to have to do without him.

Inzaghi was at his office yesterday where he spent around three hours in discussions regarding the transfer window which is now well underway.

One of the players whose name was discussed was Dumfries, who is the subject of transfer interest from a number of top European clubs, particularly in the Premier League.

A big money offer could still arrive for the Dutchman, but the coach considers him to be a key player in terms of making his style of play function, and so he has communicated to the club that they must not let go of him.
