Inter are ready to complete the signing of Paulo Dybala on a free transfer regardless of whether or not they get a deal done to bring Romelu Lukaku back on loan.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Libero, who report that the Nerazzurri are still one step away from signing the Argentine, and that their pursuit of Lukaku does not have any effect on this.

Inter have been in advanced talks with Dybala and his representatives for some time, but they have yet to put pen to paper with the 28-year-old.

Meanwhile, the improbable return of Lukaku on loan from Chelsea has quickly moved from a pipe dream to being on the verge of happening, meaning that the Nerazzurri could potentially complete two of the most high profile deals of the transfer window.

One way or the other, however, Libero reports that the Nerazzurri are on the verge of signing Dybala, no matter what happens with Lukaku.
