Inter striker Sebastiano Esposito is on the verge of completing a loan move to Belgian giants Anderlecht for next season.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Belgian side are all set to bring Esposito in, after he spent last season on loan with Basel.

Esposito was out on loan at Basel last season, where he found good form for stretches of the season but also experienced some disciplinary issues.

The Swiss side did not exercise the option to purchase the 19-year-old on a permanent basis, although they did ask Inter about the possibility of signing him on loan again on the same terms, an option that the Nerazzurri were lukewarm towards.

Now, it looks as though another loan abroad is on the cards for Esposito, and he will join Anderlecht on loan for the upcoming campaign, although the exact terms of the loan remain to be seen.
