Inter will hold another round of talks with Paulo Dybala’s representatives by the weekend, but a deal is not yet imminent for the 28-year-old on a free transfer.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that the Nerazzurri will have to take some time before getting a deal done, while city rivals AC Milan are lurking in the background with interest in the Argentine.

Things remain as they have been between Inter and Dybala for some time, with an agreement largely worked out pending a few details, but the Nerazzurri cannot make the signing official right away.

Inter must make space in their squad following the anticipated arrival of Romelu Lukaku on a season-long loan from Chelsea, and they will communicate to Dybala that if he is patience that they can get a deal wrapped up in due time.

Meanwhile, Milan remain interested in the possibility of signing Dybala if he remains available, although his wages could put the Rossoneri off.
