Andrea Ranocchia has left Inter after twelve years as a Nerazzurri player, ending a long stint with many chapters including helping the club to the Serie A title and two Coppa Italia trophies.

The 34-year-old joins newly-promoted Monza, where his experience could be a big help in their bid to keep themselves in the top flight next season following their promotion from Serie B.

Ranocchia posted a message on his Instagram account following the move being completed.

He wrote, “I’m very happy to join Monza. I thank the club for their trust, and I’ll do everything I can to repay it. I’m ready for my new adventure!”
