Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin has said that Milan Skriniar wants to stay at Inter and he does not think the Nerazzurri will sell two key players, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking whilst on Telelombardia, via FCInter1908, Fabrizio Biasin explained why Inter are able to firm with Paris Saint Germain when it comes to the negotiations for Milan Skriniar.

They are yet to meet Inter’s valuation but there is a chance that they will eventually get there and it will help Inter in their quest to end the summer with €80 million in profit.

“Skriniar would gladly stay at Inter, despite the significant advances of Paris Saint-Germain, which would go as far as to offer him more than €7 million a year, a figure Inter could never reach. He would also renew immediately.

“For this reason, Inter can be strong in the negotiation, despite the fact that his contract is now expiring in 2023. I believe, however, that if an offer of a little more than €70 million arrives, Inter will accept it. To make ends meet, if you want certain shots, you have to get resources from somewhere.”

Many fans want to know if Inter are going to be selling more than one star player, meaning someone like Lautaro Martinez or Nicolo Barella could be sold as well.

Fabrizio Biasin does not think that will happen. It is more likely a series of smaller sales will make up the difference.

“The hope, of course, is not to do it by selling someone like Skriniar, but you also have to look at reality and there aren’t many players who can bring you so much money.

“More top disposals? My feeling is that having sold a big player, Inter can get away with more ‘average’ disposals. De Vrij is one who could bring in more money. But Inter will not sell two super starters.”
