Juventus have accelerated their efforts to sign Inter target Andrea Cambiaso from Genoa this summer, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

As has been reported by Sky Sport in Italy, via FCInternews, Andrea Cambiaso is a serious target for both Inter and Juventus but it could be the Bianconeri who win this battle.

The young defender was impressive last season with Genoa despite their relegation to Serie B. He has made it clear that he would like to leave the Grifone and play in Serie A again next season.

Inter have dragged their feet somewhat because they would rather sign him for free next summer when his contract expires.

There was actually a meeting on Thursday between the sporting director of Genoa, Johannes Spors and the directors from Juventus.

There is a chance that the player would be loaned to Bologna if he were to sign for Inter.
