Salernitana have reached an agreement on personal terms with Inter defender Lorenzo Pirola and they will now try and find an agreement with Inter, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

As has been reported by Gianluca Di Marzio on Sky Sport in Italy, via FCInternews, the young defender has accepted a move to Salernitana after spending the last two years on loan at Monza in Serie B.

The Brianza had the option to buy the young defender for an agreed fee but they decided to try and negotiate a lower fee with the Nerazzurri and the deal fell apart.

That has allowed the Granata to swoop in and agree on terms with Lorenzo Pirola who is determined to play in Serie A next season.

A meeting is scheduled tonight between Inter and Salernitana directors to try and agree on a deal. The contract is four years long.
