Paris Saint Germain’s pursuit of Inter defender Milan Skriniar has slowed down in recent days as they consider the Nerazzurri’s request, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere della Sera today, the Parisian club has not yet responded to Inter’s rejection of their initial transfer offer for the Slovakian defender.

The Ligue 1 champions made an offer of €55 million but Inter are convinced that they can get €70 million for the former Sampdoria man.

PSG seem content to ignore the discussions with Inter for the time being and will focus on agreeing on personal terms with the player. That is proving tough because despite their ability to more than double his wages, he would rather remain at Inter next season.

Whilst many reports state that the two moves are not linked, the sale of Milan Skriniar would certainly allow Inter to sign Gleison Bremer from Torino sooner.
