A member of Arturo Vidal’s entourage has said that the player has no official agreement with Brazilian side Flamengo, according to a report in the Brazilian broadcast media.

Speaking during an interview with ESPN, via FCInternews, Andre Cury explained that Flamengo appear to be taking their time over the potential deal even though it has become clear that they are very interested in Arturo Vidal.

It is up to them to make the next move when it comes to contract negotiations and at this moment they are keeping their cards close to their chest.

“We are waiting for their decision. We spoke again and now it’s their turn. There is nothing official.”

Inter still need to agree with Arturo Vidal that he will be given severance pay in order to break his Inter contract.

The Chilean is one of the highest earners in the squad and he has one year left on his deal. Removing the former Barcelona and Juventus man from the wage bill will really help Inter.
