Hellas Verona have cooled their interest in signing Inter youngster Franco Carboni who had been linked with a move to the Giallorossi, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by L’Interista, the reasoning behind the cooling of interest by Hellas Verona is that they are looking for young players that they can sign on a permanent deal and build with for the future.

Inter would want Franco Carboni to only go on loan with the Giallorossi for one season before then coming back to Inter where he could form part of the team or be used to raise money for other transfers.

The Argentine left-back spent last season as part of Christian Chivu’s Primavera side which won the title. He got eight assists and two goals in the campaign.

Now it seems that a loan move to Cagliari is the most likely option for Franco Carboni.
