Italian journalist Marco Barzaghi has said that the Paulo Dybala deal is like a game of poker but it has not stalled, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

As was said by the Sport Mediaset journalist whilst on his YouTube channel, via FCInter1908, the deal between Inter and Paulo Dybala has not stalled despite many believing that the transfer could already be dead.

“It’s a long game of poker, it absolutely hasn’t stalled,” he said.

He then confirmed that there could be new contact between the two parties today in the hopes of getting closer to finally striking a definitive deal.

“The newspapers confirm it and so does my source, who told me that a point will be made soon because an important contact is expected today.”

It is well-known that Inter need to offload players from the attacking department in their squad before they can accommodate Paulo Dybala but that is proving to be a slow process.

They also need to reach a final agreement with the Argentine and his entourage that includes issues such as agent’s fees. That has become the major sticking point.
