There are now three clubs properly in the race to sign Inter midfielder Arturo Vidal this summer, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, the three clubs in question who will do battle for the Chilean’s signature are Boca Juniors in Argentina, Flamengo in Brazil, and Al Rayyan in Qatar.

None of them will get the player until the termination of Arturo Vidal’s Nerazzurri contract is completed. That is what the agent, Fernando Felicevich is currently working on in conjunction with the club. He is also the agent for Alexis Sanchez who is in the same position.

None of the clubs will pay a transfer fee for the player because they know that if they wait, Inter will pay the €4 million severance fee to end his contract. He has one year left on his current deal and Inter do not want to keep paying his wages.
