Atalanta have an agreement in principle with Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti who would be very keen on joining them, but have not yet convinced the Nerazzurri with an offer.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are still holding out for around €20 million for the 23-year-old, and that Monza are the closest club to reaching their valuation.

Atalanta are ready to offer €10 million plus €5 million in add-ons for Pinamonti, but Monza have already made a higher offer which the Nerazzurri would be much more willing to accept.

Inter want to monetize the sale of Pinamonti as much as possible, and so while they are pleased to see significant transfer interest emerge for him, no bidding war has yet broken out.

So far Monza have been the only club who have made the Nerazzurri a big offer for Pinamonti, although the striker would be lukewarm on making the switch to the newly-promoted club.
