Inter Looking To Offload One Of Edin Dzeko Or Joaquin Correa But Interest Is Lukewarm, Italian Media Report

Inter are looking to find a new club for one of Edin Dzeko or Joaquin Correa to make space in attack for Paulo Dybala, but the interest in the two forwards is lukewarm.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri have not found a great deal of serious interest in either of the pair based on their probing of the market so far.

With Romelu Lukaku on the way in, a departure of Alexis Sanchez will not be enough on its own to make space in Inter’s squad and wage bill for Dybala on a free transfer.

Dzeko would be a player they’re ready to part ways with, especially considering the Bosnian costs the club €11 million gross on his €5.5 million net per season wages.

However, as of yet the interest that has come in for the 36-year-old has only been tentative.

Meanwhile, there are clubs who would be interested in signing Correa, but the only suitors who would likely make an offer which would not see Inter take a capital loss on the €31 million they paid for him would be Newcastle United, while the Argentine is keen to stay another season and prove himself at Inter.
