Inter striker Sebastiano Esposito will be in Brussels today where he will undergo his medicals ahead of a one-season loan move to Anderlecht.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Belgian giants are all set to wrap up the loan signing of the 19-year-old.

Esposito has had no shortage of suitors for next season, both within Serie A and abroad, and there has been interest in both signing the striker personally and especially on a loan deal.

Basel had asked Inter about loaning him again after he had spent the season just gone on loan in Switzerland, but the Nerazzurri were lukewarm on the possibility.

However, another loan move does now appear to be on the cards, with Anderlecht set to win the race for Esposito, having agreed the terms of a loan deal containing a purchase option as well as a counter-option for the Nerazzurri.

The 19-year-old will be in Belgium today where he will get all the formalities out of the way before signing his contract with Anderlecht.
