Inter have no intention of allowing Denzel Dumfries to leave the club this summer despite there being no shortage of interest in his signature.

This according to Italian news outlet La Repubblica, who report that the Nerazzurri have made clear in their talks with teams from the Premier League that they are not willing to sell the 26-year-old.

Dumfries’s name is one that has come up in Inter Sporting Director Piero Ausilio’s talks with teams from the English top flight, as the Dutchman has admirers from within some of England’s top clubs.

However, Ausilio has conveyed that Inter do not wish to sell Dumfries this summer, and interested teams will have to look elsewhere to find a player in the wingback positions.

Inter are set to sign Raoul Bellanova from Cagliari this summer for the right-wingback position, but they still see Dumfries as essential in the position and will keep him next season.
