Inter find themselves in an awkward position with respect to their pursuit of Paulo Dybala, as they want to get a deal wrapped up as soon as possible but have yet to offload any other forwards from the squad.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are contemplating what to do in the circumstances given that it is clear that signing the Argentine would be very difficult without exits to make way.
Romelu Lukaku is set to arrive on loan in the next few days, meaning that at least temporarily there will be five forwards in Inter’s squad, clearly not a position from which they can move for Dybala.
Alexis Sanchez is expected to leave, but even then it would not be easy to sign Dybala given the size of his wages, and the club are navigating the situation with the 28-year-old and his representatives carefully.
