Young Inter winger Franco Carboni is increasingly ready to accept a loan move to Cagliari for next season.

This according to today’s print edition of Cagliari-based newspaper L’Unione Sarda, who report that the 19-year-old believes that a switch to the Rossoblu in Serie B is the right next step for him in his career.

Cagliari are keen on Carboni, with the Sardinians believing that he is the right type of player to bring in to reinforce their bid to immediately return to Serie A following relegation on the last day of the season just gone.

The Argentine enjoyed a very positive campaign helping the Primavera team to the Under-19 Championship, and the Nerazzurri are ready to give him a loan move to take his first steps within the senior game.

Carboni is edging closer towards Cagliari, with the sense that he could have an important role under new Rossoblu coach Fabio Liverani.
