Udinese wingback Destiny Udogie is happy that he has earned the admiration of big clubs amid transfer links to Inter, Juventus, and top sides in the Premier League.
Speaking to Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, the 19-year-old gave his thoughts on being linked with top clubs at a young age, although he also noted that ultimately it is his agent who is responsible for transfer business involving him.
Udogie’s form last season for Udinese saw his profile and reputation rise significantly, as the young Italian was one of the outstanding players for the Friulian team as they picked up plenty of good results to earn another solid midtable finish.
The 19-year-old’s form has not gone unnoticed, and a number of teams are reportedly interested in swooping for him as early this summer, although another season in Friuli could also be on the cards for him, and in any event he’s just focusing on the pitch.
“It’s very nice to be getting the interest of top clubs,” Udogie stated. “I’m calm about the situation and focusing on the pitch. My agents are the ones who focus on the market, they know what I want and have my total trust.”
