Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur have put an offer of €77 million on the table to try and sign Inter striker Lautaro Martinez this summer.

This according to UK news outlet Daily Star, via FCInterNews, who report that Spurs head coach Antonio Conte is very keen on reuniting with the 24-year-old with whom he worked at Inter, and has urged the club to try and sign him, and that the Nerazzurri have turned the bid down.

Conte is looking to try and bring Martinez in as an attacking reinforcement, with the former Juventus, Chelsea, and Italy boss having enjoyed a very positive working relationship with the Argentine in his two seasons in charge of the Nerazzurri.

However, the Nerazzurri are also insistent on keeping hold of Martinez, who they see as the attacking talent to build around for the future.

It remains to be seen if Tottenham will continue piling on the pressure with an improved offer, or if Conte will have to look elsewhere for an attacking target.
