Inter CEO Beppe Marotta wants to complete the signing of Paulo Dybala on a free transfer by July 6.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Il Messaggero, who report that the Nerazzurri’s pursuit of the Argentine is temporarily on standby but that Marotta would like to get it wrapped up by the meeting early next month.

Inter have not yet closed on a deal to sign Dybala, as they are not currently able to accommodate the 28-year-old and his wages given the number of forwards already in their squad.

However, Marotta does not want the talks with the Argentine to break down, and is hoping to get the club into a position where they can reignite their pursuit and then get a deal done very soon.

July 6 is the date that the executive has in mind, and he wants to get a deal with Dybala over the line by then.
