Inter are set to part ways with midfielder Arturo Vidal by the end of the current month for reasons related to the Growth Decree.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri will make the 35-year-old’s departure official by the end of June for financial reasons.

Vidal’s departure this summer has long looked to be all but inevitable, but as of yet there has been nothing official as the Nerazzurri work to agree terms on a mutual termination of his contract.

The midfielder’s agent Fernando Felicevich is in Milan, where he’s also negotiating the speedy exit of forward Alexis Sanchez, and Inter are working to get Vidal’s departure over the line.

The deadline looks to be at the end of the month, as the Nerazzurri would lose tax benefits related to the Growth Decree should Vidal still be on their books after this point.
